Dr. Anthony Ehimare

Dr. Ehimare joins ATIDI as the Chief Risk Officer. He brings over 20 years of risk management and institutional banking experience from international and diverse financial institutions in Africa and North America.

He joins ATIDI from ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development where he served as Director/Chief Risk Officer. Prior to ECOWAS, he worked as a Senior Vice President/Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management Risk Management at HSBC Bank USA.

Dr. Ehimare has a proven track record in risk management, financial analysis, and strategic planning, exemplified by his leadership in reducing non-performing loan ratios and enhancing bank ratings.

He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with Distinctions from the Swiss School of Business and Management, Geneva, Switzerland and an Executive MBA from the University at Buffalo, New York, USA. He has earned several prestigious awards, including the Citibank Global STAR Award and the Gold Award from AADFI.
