Ernest Leung is the Group Chief Operating Officer at WeLab, a leading pan-Asian fintech platform
and one of the most important digital native brands in financial services in Asia with more than 50
million individual users and over 700 enterprise customers in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and
Indonesia. The financial holding company operates one of the largest digital consumer finance
businesses in Asia, a pan-Asia digital bank and a leading B2B fintech enterprise solutions business.

Ernest has over 25 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. Prior to joining WeLab,
Ernest was the Singapore CEO and APAC COO at BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Ernest previously
held a number of leadership roles across key Asia markets with extensive experience ranging from
corporate strategy, business creation and transformation, to chief executive and board responsibilities
across consumer & private banking.

Ernest holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
