Michael Schach is Co-Founder and CEO of Calypso Commodities, an AI software company transforming LNG portfolio and shipping optimisation. He leads the development of X-LNG, a platform used by trading and shipping desks to optimise P&L results and reduce emissions. With over ten years in the energy sector — spanning consulting, trading, and operations — Michael brings deep expertise across LNG, gas and power markets. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and Energy Economics from the University of Oxford and RWTH Aachen University.
