OVERVIEW

David Roche is a veteran global macro strategist with more than 40 years at the intersection of geopolitics and markets, and founder of Quantum Strategy & Geonomics, a Singapore-based macro-geopolitical research firm advising hedge funds, family offices, sovereign wealth funds and governments. He was previously Head of Research and Global Strategist at J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley, and founded Independent Strategy in London in 1994.

TRACK RECORD & RECOGNITION

Known for identifying major turning points ahead of consensus — including the collapse of the Soviet Bloc and the 2008 Global Financial Crisis, for which his “liquidity pyramid” became a widely cited symbol of excess leverage. Author of several books, most recently Consequences, and a regular commentator on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, the BBC and NDTV.
