Diana Guzmán is a global sustainability leader and the Group Chief Sustainability Officer and Chair of the Prudence Foundation at Prudential Plc, where she directs the Group’s sustainability strategy across 24 markets. She leads a multinational team to embed sustainability into core business decisions and long-term value creation and is responsible for stewarding Prudential’s philanthropic portfolio of USD 16+ million to maximize social impact.
A champion of financial innovation for inclusive and sustainable growth, Diana has built her career at the intersection of public and private capital, policy and markets. She previously led the Sustainable Development Investment Partnership (SDIP) and Development Finance at the World Economic Forum, mobilising private capital for emerging markets and shaping global initiatives on blended finance, just transition and SDG investment pathways.
Earlier, Diana served as Director at CDP, working with listed companies, investors and municipalities to strengthen environmental risk management and influence capital allocation across Southern Europe and the Middle East. She also worked in the carbon markets, originating and trading emission reductions across Asia and North Africa, and chaired the OECD Building Inclusive Markets Working Group on Blended Finance.
Born and raised in Mexico, Diana holds an MBA from London Business School, a BA in Financial Management, and professional diplomas in ESG and Mandarin. She is recognised as a Changemaker and member of W50: The Next Generation of Leading Women.
