Doni Shamsuddin is the Head of Asia Pacific for BNY Investments. Doni is responsible for the company’s strategic objective to grow our Investments business in Asia Pacific. He is a member of BNY’s Asia Pacific Leadership Council and a Board Director of various BNY companies. His career at BNY spans over 23 years, with a total of 28 years of international experience in the financial services industry spanning London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Most recently Doni served as the CEO of Asia Pacific ex Japan for BNY Mellon Investment Management. Prior to this, he was the CEO of Hong Kong & Co-Head of Asia Pacific. Doni joined the firm in January 2003 from Mazars in London where he was a Senior Auditor.
Doni is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and a CFA charterholder. He holds a B.A. in Accounting, Financial Management and Economics from The University of Sheffield.
