Ishan Sarkar is the Managing Director, Head of Wealth and Premier Solutions, Singapore. In this role, he leads the development and management of the full suite of wealth products, platforms, and customer journeys across all client segments from Premier through to UHNW clients for Private Bank and Retail Wealth for HSBC Singapore. These include Capital Markets, Funds, Discretionary, Alternatives, Insurance and Wealth Lending. Most recently he was Head of Capital Markets for HSBC Private Banking and Wealth, responsible for Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Structured Products. Previously, he was of Head Structured Products for HSBC Private Banking. Prior to joining HSBC, Ishan was from Citibank where he led the Global Product Strategy team in APAC and was responsible for product development across different asset class for financial intermediaries. Before Citibank, Ishan spent 8 years in UBS as FX and Commodities Structurer and FX Derivatives Trading Quant. Ishan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) from the Nanyang Technological University.
