Pei Yin is the Head of the APAC region for the Preqin Private Markets Research team, focused on delivering data-driven insights and analytics that support investment decision-making and client engagement across private markets. She joined BlackRock in August 2022 and brings approximately 18 years of experience spanning fixed income, equities, risk analytics, portfolio construction, and client-facing investment solutions.

Prior to joining the Private Markets Research team, Pei was part of BlackRock Solutions' Analytics and Quantitative Solutions (AQS) team, partnering with clients to deliver analytical solutions leveraging the Aladdin platform.

Before BlackRock, she spent ten years at Capital Group in Los Angeles and Singapore. There, she worked with portfolio managers on risk budgeting and portfolio construction and later led a team supporting fundamental research efforts across Asia Pacific. Earlier in her career, she worked at Wilshire Associates as a product specialist and relationship manager for the Wilshire Axiom fixed income analytics platform.

Pei holds a PhD in Mathematics, along with master's degrees in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
