Jeremy Capello is the Chief of Economic Crimes at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Mr. Capello is responsible for overseeing FBI investigations across the U.S. related to complex financial crimes, including securities and commodities fraud, corporate and investment fraud, elder fraud, cyber-enabled fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and intellectual property rights crimes. He provides strategic direction and oversight for the FBI and works closely with the Department of Justice as well as domestic and foreign partners such as the Commodities Future Trading Commission, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and other Federal, State and Local agencies. Mr. Capello joined the FBI as a Special Agent in 2010 and has spent his entire career working complex financial crimes. Prior to joining the FBI, Mr. Capello worked as a marketing executive at a private equity firm for over nine years. He received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University and an MBA from St. Joseph's University.
