Mark Robertson serves as Eagle’s General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. In this dual role, Mark is responsible for overseeing all compliance functions and monitoring, as well as handling all client legal matters. Prior to joining Eagle in 2016, Mark was a Vice President & Associate General Counsel for nine years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. His responsibilities at GSAM included servicing a variety of client entities such as corporations, foundations, governments, pension funds, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations and sovereign wealth funds. Mark began his legal career as an Associate in the Corporate Advisory Group at Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Melbourne, Australia and then joined Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP as an Associate in their Corporate Group in New York. Mark earned his degrees in law and commerce from Deakin University in Australia, his native country, and his M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
