Michael Anastasio is a Risk & Control professional who has built Operational Risk programs at three firms over the past 15 years including Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Charles Schwab Investment Management, and most recently, Point 72 LLP. Michael is a strong proponent of building integrated programs capturing business continuity, disaster recovery, 3rd party risk management, Operational and Enterprise Risk as well as Operational Due Diligence (ODD). Michael has presented to corporate leaders and boards the emerging enterprise risks of the past ten years and effective ways to control these risks at the c-suite level. He also spends time on Corporate governance best practices. Previously, Michael spent his earlier years as a CPA controlling trading activities at firms such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Arthur Andersen. He attained his Chief Risk Officer designation at Carnegie Mellon in 2023 rounding out his skillset. Mike has previously presented at GAIM Ops in 2023.
