Dietrich Heidtmann joined AREIM AB in May 2023 as Head of Global Capital Formation. In this role he is focused on maintaining and expanding AREIM’s global investor relationships as well as on the development of new strategies and investment products. Dietrich has 34 years of capital markets experience, of which 20 years are in the real estate private capital markets area.
Prior to AREIM AB he worked Managing Director at GTIS Partners since September 2014 and responsibility for the firm’s international capital formation activities.
Prior to joining GTIS he was Global Head of Investor Relations & Capital Markets at AXA Real Estate IM where he also served on the firm’s Executive Committee.
Previously he worked for nearly 20 years at Morgan Stanley within the capital markets and real estate investment banking area - most recently as Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Private Capital Markets, EMEA & Asia Pacific where he was involved in capitalizing private market real estate and infrastructure vehicles targeting Europe, Asia, North- and Latin America as well as the Middle East.
Mr. Heidtmann is a regular speaker at international real estate industry events. He graduated from University of Mannheim in 1988 and holds an MBA (Diplomkaufmann).
