Lin Qu is a Partner, Insurance Investment at Aon. Aon advises on approximately $4.8 trillion in global assets for over 1,700 institutional clients, leveraging deep insurance and investment expertise to deliver robust, risk- and capital-adjusted returns. Lin spearheads the development of solutions that provide insurers with access to best-in-class managers and innovative approaches in insurance balance sheet management, investment, (re)insurance transactions, and risk management.

Previously, Lin run an independent firm provided strategic insurance investment consultancy to global industry leaders including Apollo and Macquarie. She was the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Legal and General Reinsurance, overseeing investments and contributing to the development of reinsurance transactions. Before this role, Lin served as Vice President at BlackRock’s London office, managing LDI, fiduciary OCIO, and non-linear portfolios for segregated insurance and pension fund clients.

Prior to her time at BlackRock, Lin worked at ING Investment Management as the lead investment manager for global derivative and overlay hedging portfolios. Before that she worked at AEGON Group, focusing on pricing insurance products and market risk management as a risk manager.
