Fern Paul-Aviles is an Assistant Vice President of Pharmacy at Atrium Health in North Carolina. In her 340B role, Fern oversees Atrium Health’s 340B program which covers 11 hospitals in North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. She also has responsibility for Pharmacy Population Health strategy, and Behavioral Health and Long-term care pharmacy services.

Fern has served in several leadership roles at Carolinas Medical Center’s four retail pharmacies which serve low-income patients and provide unrivaled care for many of the most vulnerable patients in the Charlotte community.

Fern graduated with a B.S. in Pharmacy from South Dakota State University and holds an M.S. in Hospital Pharmacy Administration and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
