Jason Grunfeld is a Partner and Head of Business Development for Kleinberg Kaplan. Jason advises private investment funds and their managers on the full spectrum of strategic issues related to their formation, structure and operation, including seed deals, strategic investments and side letters. He also structures agreements among the principals of management companies as well as helps the firm's clients with managed account agreements, solicitation agreements, investor presentations and advises them on general securities matters. In addition, Jason deals with employment issues, including drafting employment agreements and termination/separation agreements for executives, both within the financial services area as well as in other sectors.
Jason is highly regarded throughout the private investment funds industry and frequently speaks at industry conferences and events. He is also an active thought leader and presenter for a prominent COO/CFO Hedge Fund Group. Jason has been recognized by commentary in The Legal 500: United States, Super Lawyers, and by Who’s Who Legal as one of the top lawyers for “Private Funds.”
