Daniel Shkolnik is the Founder and CEO of Atlas West Group, a vertically integrated real estate development firm focused on multifamily and for-sale subdivision opportunities in Southern California.

Over the past decade, Daniel has acquired, developed, managed, and invested in more than $400 million of real estate transactions. His work centers on identifying the right basis, understanding risk, structuring deals, and executing through complexity.

Daniel is particularly known for operating at the intersection of public policy and private development. Atlas West Group was among the first multifamily developers in Southern California to build deed-restricted affordable units without public subsidy and was the first to leverage the City of San Diego’s ADU Bonus Program, a pro-housing policy later recognized by the State as a national model.

Today, Daniel focuses on missing-middle housing and urban infill development throughout Southern California. He is a member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization, and his projects have been recognized by San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria and former California Senate President pro Tempore Toni Atkins.
