Emre Turanalp specializes in complex entitlements for urban development projects across California. He works with developers to determine the highest and best use of real estate and manages municipal entitlement processes. He is also known for his work on adaptive reuse, particularly ADU condominium conversions, and related land use matters for private-sector clients.
As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hoadu Consulting, he leads a firm focused on new real estate legislation and statewide housing initiatives for developers. His work spans all 10 of California's major metropolitan areas. His team is backed by experience in 100+ municipalities, with established working relationships across local authorities throughout California, acting as a liaison between developers and their respective agencies.
In this role, Emre develops first-of-its-kind systems that leverage new housing policy to create new ownership and development pathways. He directs operations, manages vendor relations, and helps clients navigate complex land use and entitlement processes from zero to entitlements to C of O. Coming from a sales background, he brings a practical understanding of how to speak to the incentives that drive deals and commissions.
