Andrew Welker is the Founder and CEO of W Properties and Prophet Homes, and a board member of Ubuntu Life. A dynamic real estate entrepreneur, Welker first gained national recognition as a founding partner of New Western Acquisitions, where he helped build the firm into one of the country’s largest homebuyers, acquiring more than 12,000 properties valued at over $2 billion.

In 2018, he launched W Properties, a Dallas-based development company specializing in multifamily and build-to-rent (BTR) communities, where he partners with high-net-worth investors, institutional funds, landowners, and strategic real estate professionals. Among the firm’s notable projects is Wolf Creek Farms in Melissa, Texas, a $95 million BTR community featuring 343 single-family rental homes with Class-A amenities. In 2024, Welker expanded his platform with Prophet Homes, a marketplace that connects investors with high-quality, renovation-ready single-family opportunities while creating strategic synergy with W Properties through deal flow and acquisition scale.

Beyond his work in real estate, Welker is committed to philanthropy and social impact. He founded the Welker Foundation, which supports Habitat for Humanity, and serves on the board of Ubuntu Life, a social enterprise in Kenya that provides medical care, therapy, and meaningful employment opportunities to families of children with special needs. He is currently helping lead a transformational expansion of Ubuntu Life’s campus, including a new sports facility in partnership with Nike.
