Mr. Raisner is the Founder and CEO of The Raisner Group, a New York real estate investment firm focused on Brooklyn.

Since 2009, The Raisner Group has pioneered real estate investments in urban renewal and emerging areas of the Borough. To date, it has purchased and repositioned over 70 multifamily properties and 20 commercial spaces and has reshaped the Brooklyn urban landscape. Most of the firm’s acquisitions have taken place in the emerging neighborhoods of Bushwick, Bed Stuy and Prospect Lefferts Gardens.

As a leading actor of urban renewal, the company adopts a long-term vision and seeks deep local commitments to the neighborhoods it invests in, hand-in-hand with local stakeholders and communities. In particular, The Raisner Group has been praised for local philanthropic initiatives, Brooklyn job creation and the restoration of historic architecture.

Mr. Raisner has remained at the forefront of innovation in real estate. Since 2013, The Raisner Group has made early-stage investments in such real estate technology startups as TheGuarantors, Enertiv, and LeasePilot.

Prior to creating The Raisner Group, he worked as an equity trader in New York and a private equity investor in Argentina. Mr. Raisner holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA from Columbia Business School with Dean’s List honors.

He is a Foreign Trade Advisor to the Government of France and the President of the USA-NE Committee. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of La Maison Française of New York University, is a Member of YPO and a CFA Charterholder.

He has been a Contributor on real estate, urbanism and foreign affairs topics for publications and organization such as The Huffington Post, The World Economic Forum, Forbes, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Observer and Le Monde.

Prior to his career in business, he played professional basketball.
