Andrés Ballestas is the founder and managing partner of Ballestas Group. Mr. Ballestas leads a group of highly qualified specialists focused on wealth management and advisory services to high net worth families and "Family Offices" located in Latin America and Europe. Its main objective is to offer alternatives and a differentiated service to those typically offered by private banks in the US and Europe. Since 2002 he has held the designation of Certified Investment Management Consulting Analyst (CIMA) and is a member of the Investment Management Consulting Association (IMCA). In his role as managing partner, Andrés' main focus is risk management in client portfolios.

Prior to founding Ballestas Group, Andrés worked for 29 years at Merrill Lynch as First Vice President of Investments and Private Wealth Advisor, where he advised high net worth families. He was a member of the Charles E. Merrill Circle, a distinction few in the industry achieve.

Andrés graduated from the University of San Diego in Administration and Economics. He has completed several courses in leadership, liability management and administration, and alternative investments at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
