Russell Deakin is a Managing Partner of Aceana Group, a SFO/advisor focused on private investments. Mr. Deakin is an executive with 30 years’ experience in North America, Europe, and South America with private equity/venture capital, private credit, real estate and infrastructure/energy. Over the last few years, Mr. Deakin has been an active investor in Blockchain, Crypto, AI, Deep tech Life science, Healthcare, Fintech. EdTech & MedTech by investing in funds, direct investments, co-investments, and tokens. Mr. Deakin has been a partner of a VC fund and a managing director of a private equity firm. Also, Mr. Deakin was a CFO/partner for 11 years for a real estate developer in addition to being on boards of invested companies and interim CFO for other portfolio companies. Mr. Deakin is also a successful investor/advisor in these asset classes. Since 1987 he has invested and advised in the U.S, Europe, Latin America and Asia.

A dual British and American citizen, Mr. Deakin has a BA in economics and history from Tufts, where he was selected for an Honors exchange program with Oxford University. He also has an MBA in International Marketing and Finances from the Anderson Graduate School at UCLA.
