Anand is a seasoned technologist with a deep-rooted passion for innovation and tackling complex technology challenges. His expertise spans from conceptualizing ideas to scaling them into production-ready solutions, having led numerous groundbreaking projects with substantial impacts on the industry.

He has more than 2 decades of experience in technology and has played pivotal roles in many large-scale system modernizations and migrations at NYSE.

Currently, among other things he spearheads the AI Center of Excellence at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and runs the NYSE Launchpad Lab, an initiative designed to partner with technology startup to innovate. Also, he oversees multiple diverse technology departments, including those powering critical infrastructures like 'CTA and OPRA' and NYSE Regulation.

Under his leadership, the OPRA system was successfully migrated to Pillar technology, the largest real-time market data consolidation system on the planet processing over 150 billion messages daily with ultra-low latency of 20 microseconds per transaction. He also led the NYSE Surveillance system’s transition to AWS, marking it as the first major real-time big data application to run on the cloud for NYSE and ICE, processing over half a trillion transactions.

Before his current roles, as the CTO of a FinTech startup, he leveraged cloud computing to handle financial transaction data, providing robust solutions to complex problems. His background also includes significant contributions to trading system developments at NYSE, where he played a key role in modernizing systems, including the development of NYSE's new flagship multi-asset class trading platform, ‘NYSE Pillar’, which powers all the NYSE exchanges.

He thrives on creating and mentoring high-performing tech teams, driving technological innovations that not only meet but exceed the evolving demands of global markets. His career is dedicated to fostering environments that nurture technological advancements and strategic growth.
