Chris Mozilo is a seasoned mortgage banking executive with over three decades of leadership experience spanning sales, operations, compliance, and strategic growth initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of TPO Production at Kind Lending, Chris leverages his extensive industry expertise to drive third-party origination strategies and optimize production outcomes.

Prior to joining Kind Lending in April 2025, Chris spent nearly a decade at Newrez LLC as Divisional Vice President, where he served as the sales leader for wholesale and non-delegated correspondent lending across the western United States. His ability to build and manage high-performing teams while navigating complex regional markets was instrumental to the organization's growth and market penetration.

Chris's career includes significant accomplishments in a wide range of segments of the mortgage industry including retail and wholesale origination, operations, risk, compliance, and quality control.

An entrepreneur at heart, Chris founded eModifyMyLoan during the financial crisis, creating a free web-based platform to assist struggling homeowners with loan modifications. He also launched ShortSaleMyHome.com as a resource for real estate agents managing short sale listings, demonstrating his commitment to innovation and customer service during challenging market conditions.

Chris holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He earned his Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association in 2006, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and industry leadership. Based in the Greater Phoenix Area, Chris continues to be a driving force in the mortgage banking industry, combining strategic vision with operational expertise to deliver results.
