Graduating from the University of Georgia with a BA in Journalism in 1985, Mickey Schilling discovered her passion for the mortgage industry in 2000. With experience spanning various areas within mortgage lending, Mickey is now the VP, National Sales at Highland Mortgage. In 2021, she achieved her Certified Mortgage Banker designation with the MBA.

Dedicated to guiding borrowers through their homeownership journey, Mickey actively contributes to the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia as a Governor and serves as Secretary for the Atlanta Mortgage Bankers Association. She also engages with trade associations like the Community Mortgage Lenders of America and the Mortgage Action Alliance.

When not immersed in the mortgage world, Mickey enjoys beach walks, supporting the Georgia Bulldogs, and cherishing moments with her husband, children, and granddaughter.
