Shelby Fercik is a Mortgage System Manager at OnPoint Credit Union with nearly a decade of experience in the mortgage industry. Since beginning her career as a post-closer in 2015, Shelby discovered her passion for mortgage technology and has specialized in optimizing loan operating systems and processes. She is currently spearheading OnPoint's first major AI implementation, integrating Ocrolus software for document classification and analysis, gaining hands-on experience with AI integration in lending operations. She's excited to help shape the conversation around AI adoption in the mortgage industry. When she's not diving into the latest mortgage tech, you can find her in the Pacific Northwest with her yellow lab, Hashtag, who may or may not have opinions about machine learning algorithms.
