Jesse joined Optimus as Director of Acquisitions with responsibility for investment strategy, sourcing new investment opportunities, and expanding capital partner relationships. Prior to joining Optimus, Jesse was a Senior Vice President with Watt Investment Partners where he was responsible for the sourcing and management of equity investments. Previously, Jesse was the Vice President of Acquisitions at Laurus Corporation and Originator/Underwriter at Calmwater Capital where he closed over $300 million of senior and mezzanine bridge loans on commercial real estate properties. Jesse began his career as Director of Acquisitions at Levy Affiliated Holdings where he focused on value-add investment opportunities on the West Coast. Jesse received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
