Sagiv has been active in buying and selling commercial properties with an emphasis on bringing US opportunities to Israeli investors. Sagiv established Rosano Partners to create an integrated full-service brokerage, and the investment firm Roman Group to take advantage of his real estate market knowledge. Sagiv has personally initiated, brokered and executed over $600 million of real estate transactions, and successfully initiated and executed 14 syndicated deals with investors who are his best references. On his latest exit, a 44 units on Rampart, Sagiv’s investors realized a 24% IRR and a 2.1 Equity Multiple on a 3.5 years hold.
Sagiv began his real estate career with Marcus & Millichap where he was successful in brokering over 90 Investment Sales and Debt Placement transactions in Southern California. Previously, Sagiv was an investment banker with Lehman Brothers Technology M&A and Corporate Finance Group. In addition to processing, initiating financing and M&A transactions, he designed and implemented an internal global database that tracked technology companies, resulting in significantly faster initiations of M&A transactions.
Sagiv also worked for the Israeli Defense Department as an Operations Manager. While he was stationed in Hungry, Cypress, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, and the US, Sagiv consulted, managed, and collaborated with local governmental organizations on security and terrorism issues. Sagiv was also a Senior Lieutenant in the Israel Defense Forces where he led and managed special operation infantry company logistics and combat operations.
Sagiv received a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor of Arts from the University of California Los Angeles with College Honors in Business Economics and a minor in Accounting. He is a recipient of the UCLA Chancellor Distinguished Student Award, and the UCLA Economics Department Excellence Award. Sagiv was an instructor at UCLA Extension where he taught Real Estate Market Analysis. He is on the Board of Counselors at USC Marshall School of Business where he helps Veterans at Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) program.
