Alex graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Finance in 2009. He started his real estate career in the multi-family property management industry in his hometown of Louisville, KY. Within 1 year, he became a successful Property Manager of a 215 unit multifamily community. During his time in the multifamily industry, Alex learned the business and worked to achieve his CAM certification from the National Apartment Association.

Seeking a new challenge and professional growth, Alex relocated to Charleston, SC to join an SFR REIT, specializing in the purchase, renovation, and management of single family rental properties throughout the country. During his 5 years with the SRF REIT, Alex held many operational positions including Renovation Manager, Regional Renovation Manager, New Market/City Opener, and finally the National Director of Property Management. The company was able to grow unit count during his time from 850 doors to over 9,000 doors.

During his real estate career, Alex has always focused on being an investor. He is passionate about the long term benefits of investing in real estate. He started a rental property business during his early multifamily management days and now owns single family homes and multifamily/short term rentals. He is currently involved in the flipping of single family properties and will be focused on multifamily repositions in the near future.

Alex is excited to take his experience and apply scalable operations to Auben Realty’s established investment brokerage. He is passionate about building out and implementing processes and procedures that focus on efficiency and results.

In his free time, Alex enjoys playing golf, traveling, and hanging out with his Golden Retriever, Cash.
