Donny Fineberg

Mr. Fineberg joined BrightSky in 2025 and brings seven years of experience across real estate financial services, with a focus on acquisitions, development, and investments in the build-to-rent and multifamily sectors. At BrightSky, he leads the JV equity business, partnering closely with the investments, acquisitions, and operations teams to source, underwrite, and structure joint venture investments with institutional and private capital partners. His role spans deal origination, capital formation, and execution through closing and development.

Prior to BrightSky, Mr. Fineberg was with Core Spaces, where he played a key role in expanding the firm’s build-to-rent platform. He led underwriting, due diligence, and land acquisitions across high-growth markets in Texas and North Carolina, supporting the execution of more than $500 million in transactions. His work included coordinating cross-functional teams, managing third-party consultants, and presenting investment recommendations to internal committees and capital partners.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Fineberg worked at Heitman, where he evaluated investment opportunities across the living sector, including single-family rental, multifamily, and student housing. He was closely involved in the formation of a single-family rental joint venture, developing underwriting models, conducting detailed market research, and assisting in the structuring and negotiation of joint venture agreements.

Mr. Fineberg holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder and is a member of ULI South Florida.
