Eric Friedman

Eric Friedman joined Crescent Communities in 2022 and currently serves as the Director of Development, Build-to-Rent. Eric is responsible for single-family investments in the Southeast region including the sourcing, entitlement, capitalization, design, and execution of new single-family and mixed-use developments.

Previously at Crescent Communities, Eric held the positions of Development Manager.

Prior to Crescent Communities, Eric was an Investment Banking Associate in the real estate, gaming, lodging, and leisure group at Wells Fargo in New York City, where he executed over $10 billion of M&A, equity, and debt transactions.

Eric is a member of ULI, John Burn’s Economic Consulting Housing's Future/Rising Leaders member and alumni of the advisory board of Project Destined. Eric earned a Master of Business Administration degree from University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University with a concentration in Finance.

Eric and his wife, Kelsey, reside in Charlotte with their two children and dog Otis.
