Joakim Mortensen is the Chief Originations Officer at CoreVest Finance, where he leads nationwide originations strategy and business development across the platform. He is responsible for driving production growth, expanding distribution channels, and strengthening institutional partnerships to support scalable, capital-efficient growth. Mr. Mortensen brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate finance, with prior leadership roles at LNR Property, GMAC Commercial Mortgage, and Bayview Financial. He holds a J.D./M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University, an LL.M. from the University of Miami, and a J.D. from the University of Copenhagen.
