With over 10 years of experience in an executive role in technology, real estate investment/development, and insurance, Ryan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Obie, a startup that is reimagining insurance and risk management for real estate investors. Obie leverages data and technology to provide tailored and affordable coverage for SFR, STR, and multifamily properties, as well as the surrounding businesses.

As the leader of Obie, I oversee the vision, strategy, and execution of the company, while also managing the relationships with investors, partners, and customers. I have a strong background in Multifamily and commercial real estate valuation, underwriting, asset management, and fundraising having worked at Hudson Capital Investments and as an Investment Analyst at Ram Real Estate. I also run my own small investment and consulting firm, MAC Properties, where I sponsor and advise on SFR and multifamily deals across the Southeast and Midwest. I have a Master's degree in Architecture from Clemson University and a Bachelor's degree in Science from Michigan State University. I am passionate about creating innovative and sustainable solutions for the built world, and I am always eager to learn from and collaborate with other professionals and experts in the field. My goal is to make Obie the leading insurance platform for real estate investors, and to empower them to protect and grow their assets.
