Michael Paul is the Director of Investments and Business Development at Parkland Communities. He oversees growth strategies and financing, focusing on the capitalization and investment management of Parkland’s Build-to-Rent (BTR) and For-Sale Communities, as well as the new Fee Building division.

He also leads the disposition of entitled land and Build-for-Rent communities and assists with new land acquisitions.

Before joining Parkland, Michael was Vice President at CBRE Capital Markets, where he advised clients in the BTR sector. His team advised on property acquisitions, dispositions, valuations, land acquisitions, capital placement, and market insights, closing approximately $1.5 billion in BTR properties over three years.

Michael began his career in acquisitions with Chartwell Holdings and later worked with TPA Residential, a multifamily and BTR development firm in Greater Atlanta.

A Charleston, SC native, Michael graduated from The Citadel with a B.S. in Business Administration. He is active in the Atlanta real estate community and enjoys golfing, skiing, fishing, hunting, live music, exercising, and spending time with his wife, Abby.
