Christopher Ellison is the Vice President of Revenue at Brittain Resorts & Hotels, where he leads strategic initiatives and drives revenue optimization across the organization. With more than two decades of experience in hospitality and revenue management, Chris brings a rare blend of operational depth and analytical expertise. He has worked with every major hotel brand, managed independent boutique properties, and overseen complex condotel operations—showcasing his adaptability and broad industry knowledge.
Chris began his hospitality career as a bellman at a Brittain oceanfront resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. Over the following years, he gained hands-on experience in every department, eventually rising to general manager at a young age. His early exposure to all aspects of hotel operations gave him a comprehensive understanding of frontline service and property management.
He later transitioned into revenue management, working with JHM Hotels in Greenville, SC, developing strategies for major brands including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Carlson, Accor, and Wyndham. He also served in multiple roles at Charlestowne Hotels, including General Manager and Corporate Revenue Manager, overseeing both branded and boutique hotels.
Chris’s career further expanded at Choice Hotels International, where he helped launch the company’s revenue management program. He managed over 60 hotels across more than 50 markets in this role. His responsibilities included training revenue managers in India and consulting on properties in Germany and Australia.
Eventually returning to Brittain Resorts & Hotels as Director of Revenue, Chris was later promoted to Vice President. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his leadership in revenue strategy, technological integration, and global consulting.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governors University, a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University, and a Certificate in Accounting from Cornell University.
