In the news - Flame Keynote Jim O'Neill

The Flame Conference is this year delighted to have Jim O’Neill, Visiting Research Fellow, Bruegel & former Chairman Goldman Sachs Asset Management, speaking at the event in Amsterdam this May.

Jim will be speaking on the importance of Growth Markets on the European economy, in fact, in Jim’s words, he plans to discuss….

‘The ‘old’ developed nations have not adjusted to the new world order as they struggle with the legacy of the financial crisis. The BRICs and others (such as South Korea) have already ‘emerged’ as economic powers & this requires rapid adjustment in economic policies and especially global economic institutions.  I will look at how the world should engage with the new economic powerhouses and what this means for the EU.’
