Caroline Gaynor is a Partner at Lightstone Ventures, focusing on investments in biopharmaceuticals and medical technology. With over two decades of experience across the pharmaceutical industry, medical device development and venture capital, she brings a practical, commercially grounded perspective to life sciences investing.

Based in Dublin, Caroline works closely with emerging healthcare companies and serves on the boards of Amber Therapeutics, Volta Medical, Carrick Therapeutics, ProVerum, Cerevance, and Crystalys Therapeutics.

Previously, Caroline held senior leadership roles at Bayer Healthcare, specialising in oncology, market access and commercial strategy. She is a former Chair and current Council Member of the Irish Venture Capital Association and serves on advisory boards supporting Ireland's life sciences innovation ecosystem.

Her perspective bridges the ambition of healthcare innovation with the commercial realities of bringing it to market
