Nadiya Ishnazarova, PhD, is a Principal in the Biotech Fund at M Ventures, the strategic corporate venture capital arm of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. In this role, Nadiya leads investments and oversees the portfolio of therapeutic companies focused on Oncology, Neurology, Immunology, Fertility, and enabling tools and technologies. Prior to joining M Ventures, Nadiya served as a Project Manager in the Health & Life Sciences practice at Oliver Wyman, where she specialized in strategy and corporate transformation for healthcare corporations, health systems, pharmaceutical companies, and digital health clients across EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and Emerging Markets. She also supported M&A transactions in Healthcare and Life Sciences, performing pre-transaction assessments to analyze potential value and risks. Nadiya earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the University of Oxford, a B.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry, and dual M.Sc. degrees in Enzymology and Nanobiomaterials & Nanobiotechnology from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
