Ross is the co-chair of our Global Emerging Companies and Venture Capital (ECVC) practice. Along with Abdullah Mutawi, he is responsible for the strategic direction, market-standing and long-term growth of the international ECVC practice, which is one of the most active in the market and spans our offering in the U.S., U.K., Europe and the Middle East.

In his personal practice, Ross is one of the U.K.’s leading venture capital lawyers. He has a particular focus on science-related technologies and regularly helps life sciences, deep tech, climate and AI companies in all aspects of their growth, capital raising, M&A and international expansion as they progress through their life cycle. He also works with many of the top tier funds out of the U.S., U.K. and Europe. He has worked in both the U.K. and California, and is fluent in transactions involving a transatlantic element.

Ross also serves as office managing partner for our Cambridge office, which sits as a centre of excellence within our firm for clients looking to develop and commercialise science-related products.
