The KPI Professional Certification Program (KPIP), offered by the Balanced Scorecard Institute in partnership with The George Washington University Center for Excellence in Public Leadership, is the global standard in performance measurement training. This practical, hands-on certification equips professionals with the tools and techniques to develop, align, and use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that truly measure what matters.
At the core of this program is the MPRA Framework – a simple, powerful, and repeatable process to ensure every KPI is meaningful, aligned, and actionable.

Course Methodology
Through case studies and a series of interactive small-group workshops, you will apply the KPI development and management concepts to meet the challenges facing a typical organisation. Exercises performed throughout this programme include:
- Identify KPI challenges
- Utilise diagnostic tools, such as the Strategic Maturity Model, Logic Model,and Process Flow
- Develop Strategic Themes and Results
- Understand how well articulated performance results lead to more meaningful measures

- Attendance – You must attend all sessions of the course. If you miss more than two hours of the course sessions, you will not be eligible to sit the exam
- Certificate of Attendance – You will receive an Informa Certificate of Completion after successful completion of the course
- Certificate from The Balanced Scorecard Institute – You will receive a globally recognised certificate from The Balanced Scorecard Institute in association with The George Washington University upon successfully passing the certification
- Laptops – You are required to bring your laptop throughout the session
