As the CEO of non-profit financial corporation Home Ownership Alternatives and non-profit developer Options for Homes, Daniel Ger is dedicated to increasing the supply of high-quality attainable housing suites in Canada. In his role, Daniel oversees the business and growth strategies for both organizations and works closely with his team to manage the delivery of attainable housing projects.

Daniel’s real estate development career spans more than 15 years with experience in the private and non-profit sectors. He joined HOA as CEO in 2022 and assumed leadership of Options for Homes in 2024. Prior, Daniel served as Chief Development Officer at Options for Homes and VP at Habitat for Humanity GTA, was Executive Vice President, Development - Multi-Residential at Core Developments, and has a background in seniors housing and the hospitality sector. Daniel holds an MBA with Honours from the Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph.
