Daniel Pollack’s primary roles are to manage KingSett’s higher-risk mortgage loan investments and to assist with the ongoing refinement of governance policies and best practices for KingSett’s mortgage lending business.
Daniel brings over twenty years of restructuring experience to KingSett and most recently was a Director within TD Bank’s National Financial Restructuring Group where he managed their large, higher-risk commercial loans across Canada. Prior to this, Daniel was employed by Ernst & Young in its restructuring group where he worked on complex restructurings including Nortel Networks, Abitibi Bowater (now Resolute Paper) and Grant Forest Products, working as CCAA Monitor, receiver and advisor. He brings to KingSett a comprehensive understanding of restructuring and insolvency matters.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Canadian Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and Licensed Insolvency Trustee.
