Rob Flack was elected to the Ontario Legislature as the MPP for Elgin-Middlesex-London in 2022.
He has served as the president of the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, chair of the London International Airport, and chair of St. Peter’s Seminary Foundation. He was a co-founder of the London Bishop’s dinner and the annual Charity Classic golf tournament which raises money for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Southwestern Ontario and Camp Trillium.
After graduating from the University of Guelph in 1979, he started a career in agri-business as a sales trainee at Masterfeeds. In 1993 he was named President and CEO of Masterfeeds.
He helped Masterfeeds become one of the largest animal feed suppliers in Canada, and in 2003 was given the Golden Award by the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada for his leadership in the feed industry.
He served as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Agriculture before being appointed to cabinet as the Associate Minister of Housing in 2023.
