With over 16 years in residential real estate, Kalliopi Karkas brings vast expertise in multifamily development to RioCan, one of Canada's largest real estate investment trusts, boasting a major market, retail-focused, increasingly mixed-use portfolio. As Vice-President of RioCan Living, Kalliopi oversees all rental and condominium projects, driving the vision, performance, and growth of RioCan's residential division. Under her leadership, RioCan Living operates 14 purpose-built rental communities with over 3,100 units and has delivered 1,100 condominium units, with ten active sites in sales or under construction. Prior to RioCan, Kalliopi led strategy and execution for several Toronto-based developers, honing her skills in customer care, marketing, décor, public relations, and property management. Kalliopi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University's Schulich School of Business.
