Pamela McDonald Kuhne is a healthcare executive with extensive experience building partnerships and guiding complex initiatives across healthcare, government, and industry. As the Director of Partnerships and Innovation at Queensway Carleton Hospital, she works with public, private, and community organizations to advance practical solutions that strengthen health system performance and patient care.
Most recently, Pamela served as Director of Public Affairs at Stryker Canada, where she supported collaboration and stakeholder engagement across the health sector. Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Special Advisor to Ontario’s Minister of Research and Innovation and Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, contributing to policy and system initiatives related to Ontario’s drug programs and broader healthcare reform. She also served as Vice-Chair of the Small Business Agency of Ontario.
Pamela spent several years living and working in London, England, where she completed her MSc in Leadership and Management in Health, receiving the Course Director’s Prize. During that time, she taught postgraduate health policy, researched and published on the English NHS, and developed a strong interest in how different health systems approach policy, infrastructure, and public service delivery. She is known for bringing a practical, comparative perspective to complex organizational and policy challenges.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Commerce and Manufacturing, a member of the International Women’s Forum, and a recipient of the United Way/Centraide Community Builder Award.
