Ramtin Attar is the CEO and Co-Founder of Promise Robotics, a pioneering Canadian AI startup transforming the building industry through industrialized robotic automation. By enabling homebuilders to exponentially scale production of sustainable housing, Promise Robotics is addressing one of the most urgent challenges of our time. In 2025, the company received the prestigious CMHC Gold Game Changer Prize, recognizing its groundbreaking innovation to make a system-level impact in homebuilding.

Previously, Ramtin was a Distinguished Research Scientist, a founding member of Autodesk Research, and Head of Autodesk’s Technology Centre in Canada. Over his 13-year career at Autodesk, he shaped core technologies and strategies for the global AEC sector, spearheaded Autodesk Moonshots in Industrialized Homebuilding, and expanded the company’s AI and robotics footprint in EMEA. A technically savvy entrepreneur, he is also an inventor with multiple patents spanning BIM, IoT, Digital Twin, Robotics, and Simulation technologies.
