Werner brings 30 years of experience in commercial real estate and is CEO of BretonGale Properties, a value-add industrial investment firm. Werner spent much of his career with CBRE Limited, and served as an industrial broker, Managing Director and as Canadian President and CEO through his career at CBRE. Werner started BretonGale Properties in 2023 and has been actively acquiring income, development and mixed-use industrial properties in major urban Canadian markets. Werner has a passion for industrial real estate and has extensive sales, leasing and development experience through the completion of more than 15 million square feet of industrial transactions over his career.

Werner is currently the Chair of the Heart and Stroke Association Ontario Advisory Board and a 2025 recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal for community service.
