Food Law: Choose your Award

Food law is a dynamic area of law, heavily influenced by developments at an EU level. Over the years this course has recruited students from all over the globe and from   many different backgrounds. A typical student may be an Environmental Health Officer, or work in the food industry, or a practising lawyer or a consultant. As such the Food Law programme is specifically designed for lawyers and non-legal professionals with interests in the food law field, particularly those involved in the food industry.

Food Law - PGCert

  • Duration: 9 months
  • Start dates: 21st October 2024
  • Modules: 1 to 3
  • The PGCert requires the successful completion of 60 credits

Food Law - PGDip

  • Duration: 18 months
  • Start dates: 21st October 2024
  • Modules: 1 to 7
  • The PGDip requires the successful completion of 120 credits

Food Law - LLM

  • Duration: 26 months
  • Start dates: 21st October 2024
  • Modules: all 8 modules
  • The LLM requires the successful completion of 180 credits

Course Assessments

  • Module assessments will incorporate a variety of summative and formative submissions including reports, essays, presentations, and research assignments.
  • You will also be expected to participate in the virtual learning environment with tutors and fellow students.
  • There will be no examinations requiring attendance at a venue.
