Abiola is a practicing, dual qualified Solicitor (qualified in England & Wales as well as the Republic of Ireland) with a strong experience in the legal, commercial, technology, construction, energy, infrastructure and engineering sectors. He has had the privilege of working for well-known construction and engineering conglomerates, such as Mott MacDonald Group, and Balfour Beatty Group. Currently, Abiola is the Group Head of Legal & Commercial at the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA Group) where he advises BESA Group members on wide range of legal, commercial, corporate, construction and contractual matters.
Having worked as a legal practitioner for over 10 years, Abiola has a sound understanding of contract law and commercial risks, international dispute resolution, as well as a firm grasp on core commercial, contracting and management principles. Abiola has a wealth of experience dealing with international organisations and law firms operating in different regions of the world (i.e., EMEA, APAC, LAD/LATAM, NA. He holds a reputation for his enthusiasm and flair for teaching.
