Gautam Mahajan, PhD, is Scientific Director at Emulate Inc., where he leads efforts to translate organ-on-chip technology into drug discovery and regulatory applications. He trained at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering under Donald Ingber, developing first-in-field human organ-chip models. His work focuses on enabling human-relevant preclinical systems for pharma and agencies including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and National Institutes of Health, supporting translational decision-making and broader adoption of non-animal methods.
