Pierre trained as a Biochemist at St Andrews and Pharmacology at Oxford with a research focus on cancer biomarker discovery. Since, Pierre has worked across corporate development in Biotech, clinical stage investing and early stage venture capital. He is now a Senior Associate at Syncona, a London based Life Sciences VC firm founded by the Wellcome trust with the mandate of building and investing in therapeutics companies that can bring transformative improvements in the standard of care for patients in areas of high unmet need.
